Welcome to the family!

I am kind of behind on blogging–hopefully you can all understand. My family is here visiting, AND we are still adjusting to having a newborn again.
Just wanted to share a few pictures of Littlest E’s first visitors after he arrived home. His cousins (girls, of course–he is surrounded!), Auntie Kim, his great-grandma and grandpa (who he is named after), and Auntie Joy who just popped by to snap some pictures.

So far, so good…..

We are settling in to a routine with three kids….and I will tell you, I don’t notice much difference going from 2 to 3. Maybe it will get harder soon, but for right now–those of you who were wondering–it is going great. But–this could possibly be because our newest E just sleeps ALL OF THE TIME. We have to wake him up to feed him!

The girls love him, and want to hold him constantly. If he cries, they rush to find his pacifier and shove it in his mouth (whether he wants it or not). And the other day Middle E (formerly known as Little E) told me, “I’m glad he came out!”.

He does open his eyes once in awhile…..

Our newest addition!

Most of you have probably already read the news and seen pictures on Josh’s blog…..but in case you haven’t, our newest “E” is here! We brought him home yesterday from the hospital. I am still adapting to using male pronouns–I have already referred to him as “her” several times. Poor kid.

Everything went great–about the same as the other two deliveries–and so far he is a very contented baby. Hopefully that will continue!

The girls are fascinated with him, but also slightly too agressive in their affection. We will just have to guard the poor baby for awhile, until the novelty has worn off. Big E carries around her new doll constantly now, changing its diaper and swaddling it in a blanket. It is very cute.

The day has arrived….

Well, for those of you who care–here is the infamous picture….

And tomorrow is the big day! Since I have been dilated and contracting for several weeks, my dr. is inducing me tomorrow. So if you read this and think of it, please pray for me and the newest member of our family! I will try to update as soon as I can. (If I ever have a free moment again!)
