Toddler World

A look into the life of 3 small kids and their parents

Daddy time

Little E and Daddy were both sporting the white t-shirts, so I felt I had to take a picture.

Little E gets to watch his first (and I know will not be his last) soccer game. He would get angry every time Josh turned him away from the t.v. Either he likes soccer or is a t.v. addict like his middle sister….. :-)

Josh received his “10 year watch” from Maranatha last week. It is a little scary to think that he has been around here this long—but the Lord has blessed our time here and given us so many good friends and opportunities here in town. Maybe we will be here another 20?? Hmmm…… We’ll see…… I am proud of you though, Honey!!! :-)

Vote for who????

If you live in Massachusetts, you may want to cast your vote for a new “rising star“. I think he would be an excellent congressional leader (plus, I will be related to him in a few weeks–see here– and would love to say that I am related to a congressman.) :-) Not to be shallow or anything…….Go Kevin!!!

When being a mother seems so worthless…..

….I just look at these little faces and remember the blessing God has given me!
Happy Mother’s Day to all of my friends who are mothers or someday will be mothers. God has given us a wonderful responsibility. May we seek to do our best in it! A verse that has been very encouraging to me lately is Eph.3:20,21….when I feel I am not making progress with my children or I have lost my temper one too many times this week, I can remember that God can do the IMPOSSIBLE! I am so glad that motherhood is not powered by my own strength and wisdom!
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20,21

Time goes by…..

I realize it has been awhile since I have posted. Josh claims that I am going to lose all of my faithful readers. Are you still out there, faithful readers? :-)

We have packed alot into the past month. Besides adjusting to a newborn in the house, my family came to visit me, my church (and especially my friend, Tiffany) held a shower for me, Middle E turned 3, I turned 30 (gasp!), we attended the local children’s fair, and Josh’s brother returned from Iraq and got married. Needless to say, it has been an exhausting maternity leave. Isn’t the point of a maternity leave to rest up after having a baby?? I am not sure anymore….

Anyway, here are a few pictures of the past month. I will post some slideshows soon!
