The day has arrived….

Well, for those of you who care–here is the infamous picture….

And tomorrow is the big day! Since I have been dilated and contracting for several weeks, my dr. is inducing me tomorrow. So if you read this and think of it, please pray for me and the newest member of our family! I will try to update as soon as I can. (If I ever have a free moment again!)

Old news….

I haven’t been able to post pictures for a few weeks (seeing as I am technologically challenged and cannot remember how to download pics from our new camera!) But I wanted to share a couple from our huge snowstorm that we had back in February, and then our first “spring walk” of the season.

Big E got some new rainboots that she is very proud of, so we had to try them out at the duck park. The girls thought it was funny that the geese were walking on the ice (and they were scared of them after I warned them that they might try to steal their snacks…..I am such a great mother).

And for all that are requesting, I will post another picture of my growing self. I am quite a bit bigger than the last photo; so when you see it, you can all feel sorry for me and pray that the kid will come soon! We are ready for him–the girls are moved into their new room, and we have a changing table–what more do we need to wait for?!

My sister-in-law sent this newsclip to me. I found it fascinating, first of all, because it just shows that our God loves us beyond what we can imagine. He can also do what even our brillant modern science cannot! Secondly, I always love to see conservative Christians get a postive spot in headline news. It is refreshing. And third, my husband student taught at this church and knows this man. So it was sobering to realize how “close to home” death can hit, and was a reminder of our brevity here on earth. I am so thankful for God’s provision of peace through His Son. I don’t have to fear death–only be ready to face it!
