How do I love thee….?
O.K., my friend Tancy just tagged me (sorry, Tans, I don’t know how to link your blog to your name–I am technologically challenged). But anyways, she has a cool blog which you can find in the comments sections of my posts. (mom2mine)
Unknowingly, she is actually providing a free therapy/counseling session for me. I have been very negative to my husband lately, and we have not had much time to spend together as a couple. So this little post will be a way of helping to remember what a wonderful husband God has given me! (Thanks, Tancy!)
13 Things I Love About my Husband:
1) He is very handsome.
2) He loves the Lord and desires to serve Him.
3) He is a terrific father to our children.
4) He is extremely patient.
5) He works jobs that are not his favorite, just so we can live.
6) He is like a little kid when it comes to soccer.
7) He is an awesome coach and mentor to many kids.
He lets me go shopping and rarely scolds me.
9) He is very smart.
10) He does not care if he has other friends–he says I am enough.
11) He has an immense amount of integrity.
12) He always helps with the kids–even when the game is on.
13) He is knowledgeable is so many areas.
Now, I am tagging Danielle and Gretchen. Ha, ha!!!!
Seeing in blue
To follow up a post about having children, I thought I should share our big news. As of last Tuesday, it looks like we will be having our BOY!!!! Of course doctors are never overwhelmingly 100% (for fear of being sued or something, I guess)–but she was pretty confident in her assessment.
We are all very excited…..even the youngest toddler, who was sure she was going to have a sister. She was disappointed at first, but seems to be over it now.
So I will be able to buy all of the little boy clothes I have always loved!!!!!
(And yes, Donette–we are most likely “borrowing” your name–hope that is still o.k.)
How full is your quiver?
I found this article (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15701301/site/newsweek/from/ET/ )
interesting…..but lest you think we are going to have a family of 12 someday, have no fear! That is far from correct.
I know 3 children in 4 1/2 years is tending towards that, but come on!
Just wanted to hear responses…..
"He giveth more grace….."
After an exasperating day with my toddlers (during which I reacted very ungodly on several occasions– unfortunately), I must remind myself that God has given me the privelege of being their mother. Although I do not find myself competent for the task, I know that He can give me the grace and wisdom needed to deal with each situation.
And then I always have to post adorable pictures of them, to prove–to myself more than anyone– that they are sweet and are worth raising!
The extreme weather changes have been fun this week. We took a long walk/bike ride one day, played in the leaves the next, and went for a snowy trek two days later. God’s creation amazes me, and it is even more amazing when viewed through the eyes of a 2 year old and a 3 year old.
New additions……
….to my post! I just added a couple of friends’ blogs, which I check faithfully. (Now if I could just get my other friends to see the greatness of Blogspot!) Check them out in my links.
The toddlers’ father is away all week, so if you don’t hear from me–I have gone insane! Only the Lord can help me get through the next 5 days! >:-) So please pray…..
