Well, my two little girls have a busier social calendar than many adults. Perhaps they are dragged around too much, but they seem to like it.
This week alone, they have visited 4 different people’s houses, had their wonderful aunt around for a few days, gone shopping several times….as well as fit in several walks!
They are all about princess things at the moment, which I can tolerate. It is cute to see them dressing up and having tea parties and going to “the ball”. The new trend that I am not as patient with is pretending to be dogs. I know I went through this stage as a child–and frankly, I do not know how my mother kept from kicking me! It gets extremely tiring having to pretend like you are petting them and deciphering what barks mean what.
Hopefully this will pass quickly and they will be on to playing school all day or something. That is quieter, right??
The littlest toddler will soon be 2 years old!! I cannot believe it–the time has flown by. We are already preparing her sister for the disappointment that accompanies someone else’s birthday. It will be a hard day for her, watching all of the new treasures being passed to her little sister’s hands, while she sits out of the limelight. Hopefully she will not need therapy afterwards…..
